Would the Baja be a good car for a short person?

My wife is five feet tall and this is a problem for her, too. she needed a car small enough for herself and to accept child seats for grandchildren. We elected the Mazda CX-5 with one addition. That was the Motor Trend Bamboo Seat Cushion. It gives her the perfect elevation for comfortable driving & seeing out the windshield..... As far as the Subaru Baja, i's not a good, reliable car and at six years old, I'd advise against it. with the seat bolster, you'll probably be happy with any smallish car. I'd suggest you look at Honda, Toyota, or Mazda for more reliability.
