2004 Saturn ion quad coupe keeps going into limp mode.

Asked by Apr 30, 2019 at 01:00 PM about the 2004 Saturn ION

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The only code that has come up is P0700 transmission TCM. Car only has
42,000 miles. I can hit erase code on scanner and it will run proper but goes
right back into limp mode. Any thoughts are appreciated.

There is a persistent problem with the car and it needs to be fixed for the car to stop shutting off. And a transmission problem can do it.
