Car won't start

Asked by Jan 08, 2017 at 03:56 AM about the 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2000 grand prix won't starr. I tool it earlier was
fine. My son went to take it said he put the key in
the ignition dash board lit up for a second then
everything went black and wouldn't start. Couldn't
even alarm the car with the key chain alarm....any
ideas?

Sounds like a dead battery or bad battery cable connection. HTH. -Jim
