Car will turn ovet but will not start up.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta GLI, automatic
with 93,000 miles, with the turbo engine. I was
driving down the highway going about 80 mph. I
pulled off the highway and started to slow down to
approximately 30-40 mph thats when the
information center read "Stop Engine! Low oil
pressure." At that moment I was in the middle of
traffic and could not pull off and shut down the
engine. As I turned into a parking lot the vehicle
made a loud squeaking noise, lost power then the
vehicle died. I checked the oil which was low by
3/4 of qt. I filled it back up and when I tried to start
it, it just clicked. The next day I had it towed back
to my house and tried to start it and it just clicked
about 5 more trys then all of a sudden the vehicle
will crank but won't start up. And it makes a really
weak noise when starting. The noise is coming
from the starter. I took the starter off and had it
tested and autozone said it's good. The battery is
only 1 year old. I know the vheck engine light come
on and off and it had been for about two months,
but I nerver had it chevked out. I know, I should of
had it checked out. Can anyone tell me if they had
this problem. And if so how did they fix it.
