Electrical fuse by battery

Asked by Oct 31, 2017 at 08:26 AM about the 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The 30amp fuse by the battery keeps popping and
the alternator isn't keeping the car running. The
alternator tested good but whenever it pops the
battery dies and the car shuts down. Could it be a
loose wire on the alternator?
