I have a 2002 GS 300 lexus. I am having an air conditioner problem.

When I turn on the air the driver side is very cold and the passenger side is
very hot. As if the heat is on.

There are doors or flaps that direct the air flow, hot and cold, to various outlets. If the driver's side is responding correctly, I would think there is a door actuator on the passenger side not working. Could just be stuck in the wrong position. Maybe turning the selector to various settings, several times, will free up the door.
