Help with maintainence

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have to leave our car unused for 6 months.  What should we do in
preparation for this.

Fill the gas tank and add a fuel stabilizer. Change the oil and oil filter. Inflate the tires to the recommended pressure. Remove the battery and store indoors. If the vehicle will be stored outdoors put mothballs in the engine and trunk compartments to keep away any critters that might like to make your vehicle their home (mice, squirrels, etc.). That's about it. HTH. -Jim
