New Battery but it’s dead the next time I start it?

Hi I bought a brand new battery and it was
starting just fine but now it’s dead by the next
day? It don’t have plates so I just been
working on it and driving it up and down the
street. Everything is off no lights no radio ect
is left on Its not my alternator I took positive
off and it still runs? What could it be? Any
idea??
