2015 GMC Yukon XL won't go into park

1. This could be a broken brake-shift interlock. Normally, you press the brake peddle to get out of park, but don't have to press the brake to go back into park. A broken mechanism can prevent the shifter form moving in both directions. 2. Could be a broken or stretched shift cable, a failed solenoid, or even a worn ignition switch blocking the shifter return to park.
