2010 P71 rear end

Asked by Jun 02, 2019 at 03:34 PM about the 2010 Ford Crown Victoria

Question type: General

I noticed a serious sway when going around a corner and going on the
freeway I almost lost control.  I put the car up and noticed the the bolt on the
top of the differential holding the sway bars had completely come out of the
differential.  I can move it and put it all the way back in without screwing it in
so obviously the threads are stripped.  How would this happen.  I had a new
rear end put in a year ago and I'm wondering if they didn't put the right size
bold in because how could this bolt come completely out when it is
connected on the top?  Also, how do I fix this?  Thank you!!
