2003 infiniti i35 leaking coolant

Asked by Jul 03, 2019 at 04:13 PM about the 2003 INFINITI I35

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

"MI spent 2k in work 3 months ago ro get my
vehicle up yo par and safe go drive, from an axle
and new motoe mount, flushed heater core,  new
radiator, and etc....2 days ago my car was
overheating within minutes of driving so i took it to
my regular shop thats done me well as far as this
car goes...."Coolant is leaking badly from either the
crossover pipe or the cylinder head." And they dont
do this kind of work and referred me to Infiniti..
Since they can be more thorough (AND
EXPENSIVE) Is deciphering which one difficult??
Also, about how much do you think is a good
estimate for said work? I HAVE A TON of friends
that have plenty of experience and knowledge with
mechanics, i just want to know if im safer letting a
shop do it...and how much im going to have to put
into it.
