Traction Control Light

Asked by GuruHBVCW Jul 15, 2019 at 01:30 PM about the 2010 Honda CR-V

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My traction control (No Traction) light pops on and my wheels spin when the
streets are wet.  I've had my tires checked but was told they are good.  What
could be causing this issue?  My car tends to slide on wet roads.

That is an indication that the tire compound is too hard, now they might have excellent tread on them and the air pressure is correct but hard tires just don't get good traction in the rain or other liquids that you might encounter on the road. You can try dropping the tire pressure a few pounds in the rain and see how that works. But you may wind up getting a softer tires.
