Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Last week while trying to turn my car on it wouldnt turn over the battery was
drained..i got a jump but didnt let it sit long enough i tried to start it right
away,it just made that clicking noise indicating the battery was still dead but
all lights and everything would turn on.i was never able to start it but the theft
alarm light on the dash board kept lighting day i bought a brand new
battery and changed a few fuses..then initiced half of the fuses in engine
compartment had no power but the fuses werent blown..called tow truck to
take it back to my house..tow truck driver from AAA kept trying to find what
was wrong with it he finally gave up and said ok let me put it in Neutral so i
can load it up on the tow truck i turned to get in my other car to drive back
home when tow truck driver gets it to turn over..oh he did check the battery
and said it was half way dead..i had just put that brand new battery 30
minutes before him he gave it a jump when he got it to turn over
he still had his cables on my car..i drive my car back home but when i got on
the freeway I noticed the transmission slipping every time it would hit second
and third gear ( Automatic transmission ) one week later today while driving to
work at 40 mph i hear a Thump “transmission slipping” then at 65mph the
same thing oh i forgot to mentioned since it started doing this last week the
wrench light and engine light came on i ran a scanner on it and got a p0760
code..anyways back to my drive to work . I was doing 75 mph when (ABS)
light flashed then then “RPM’s” were going crazy it would go as high as to the
7 so got off freeway and drove back home through the streets can anyone
give me any helpful info on this..ive read people with this issue have changed
transmissions and still have same problem
