Asked by Nov 22, 2019 at 10:34 PM about the 2009 Dodge Charger

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My dodge charge 2009 won't start. I got a
new battery this morning, I but the car in
reverse trying to leave a parking lot and the
car turned off.  I check my starting fuse
changed it for my wiper fuse and still won't
start. I got a jump and the car still didn't turn
on. Dashboard  light turn on but as soon as I
turn the key it won't start

there are three legs from the positive battery cable, one goes to the motor block, near the alternator, one goes to the chassis ground and the third for things that should never be switched off, like presets and hazard, my advise would be because the new battery is connecting to 9 year old stuff, get new cables, then report~
