Limits for increasing car's ground clearance

Asked by GuruPR79Y Jan 26, 2020 at 05:59 AM about the 2007 Daihatsu Terios

Question type: Car Customization

Hello.
My aim is to increase the weight I can carry with my car. I was told that I
should replace my rear coil springs by installing "harder" ones.
The case is that will lead to an increase of the car's height by 2 cm.
I'm wondering if that is acceptable in terms of vehicle stability & driving
dynamics.
So are there "official limits"?
For example, for changing tires there are limits of -2.5% and +1.5%.
Thank you in advance.
