Altornator size

Asked by Oct 31, 2016 at 09:49 PM about the 1981 Lincoln Town Car

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 1979 Lincoln that I wired for my
subs. I have 2 digital compositors a
second battery and a battery isolator
hooked up properly. But after running it for
a while the battery's drain and my stereo
cuts out. I recently figured out that
Canadian tire decided to sell me the rong
altornator it's only a 70amp when that's
not the one I asked for. Does anyone know
how many amp altornator I should go
with? And we're to get one for this year of
car? Isolator is 140amp battery1 is 12v
950cca and battery2 is a marine 12v with
825ca and 675cca the compasitors idk
how many amp they are.
