Trip computer shows wrong reading after problems with battery

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi recently I had to replace my car battery since the car did not start, even though during the routine maintenance the battery showed OK. After the replacement I noticed that the trip computer does not accurately show the “KM remaining on the available fuel” it shows a very high figure around 780KM on full tank while before is showed around 568. Can someone please tell how to recalibrate this correctly? Toyota Lanka has no idea on how to do this.

Plug into the OBD and reset the system and clear it out if that pea not work you chiles should have a reset on the navigation monitor itself

Hi Donnie Thanks but this was tried by the Toyota agent and did not work. I do not have a navigation monitor.
