how do you a replace a fanbelt for a ford bantam rocam 1600i

South Africa eh. If you mean the belt that runs the alternator then you just loosen the bolt by the alternator, take off old and put on new, tension belt,tighten bolt. Probably have to adjust tension in a few days.

Thank chassy, appreciate your assistance. Yes it is the belt that runs around the alternator but the Belt is running around the pullie there is no tensioner.

you get tension by moving the altenator up - it swivels once you loosen the bolt

the bracket should have a slot that curves and once the bolt is loosened the bolt will slide within that curved slot. I would sent you a picture or a drawing but I just a hunt and peck at the keyboard - have no idea how
