Serpentine belt

Serpentine belt  slipped off the pulley's
twice after being replaced had to put a
brand new adjuster idling on ran a little
better slipped off again with this have
anything to do with the timing of the
vehicle  causing get to miss  and backfire
blue smoke could destroy the timing off in
the vehicle

Sounds like you might have the wrong size belt. what size engine do you have, the ranger came in 3 different ones?
