Dodge Dakota 1993 3.9 liter

I put new clutch in a 1993 dodge Dakota 3.9 in reinstalling wiring transmission
the wiring for crank positioning sensor got pinched. Replaced crank
positioning sensor, and now truck acts like timing is off do I have to
reprogram the computer after replacing crank sensor?
