Steering problems

Asked by Jun 04, 2019 at 03:22 PM about the 2000 Ford Excursion

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck has an unknown catch in it. When driving
at 30mph or greater it catches and pulls to the left,
then suddenly releases making it dart to the right
where your compensating for the left catch.
We have replaced the steering box; the break lines;
the wheel bearings; & calipers. Now we are gonna
change the drive line. To this point nothing has
fixed it.
Do you have any ideas what is going on? We are
running out of thoughts as to what it could be.
