Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced the battery in my Fairmont and
everything seemed to be working like normal until I
went to drive it after dark. If I turn my heat on then
the head lights will shut off and if I let off the gas
the head lights shut off but come back on bright
the minute I hit the gas. Can anyone help me with
this?
