Yes. No problems at all.

Just as long as it fits the battery carrier and can be properly secured. I had a 1000 in my old Tahoe, it was a gel cell, sold it with that battery still in there after I had been working it for 3 years.

As long as it physically fits the vehicle more CCA is always a good thing.
