Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2005 Dodge Caravan - the heater is sometimes putting out cold air, sometimes hot/warm air. Last night, it was putting out plenty of heat, then all of a sudden, cold air coming out. The coolant level is good. The coolant has never been changed.  I have some guesses on what to do but thought I would ask what to check first or any views you have. thank you very much
