It could be a failed solenoid or tranny control module, take it to a tranny shop that can run an electronics test on the tranny, that way you will know if it has to be torn down and overhauled or just a solenoid replacement. HTH

I own a 2003 PT Cruiser LTD. I've changed the thermostat, replaced the temperature sensor, flushed it, refilled it and yet it continues to overheat about every 10 miles. What am I missing here?
