Corsa Utility 1.4 not idling and cutting out

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 2007 Opel Corsa Utility 1.4 a few months ago and after fixing a lot
of small problems like seatbelt pr -tensioners, fuel pump, fuel line etc, the
engine started giving me problems today. Ran fine in the morning, but later
on engine started fine as well, but idling speed went crazy without
accelerating, having done no prior work at the engine compartment. The
engine would rev up at idle to around 3000 rpm then just drop, almost
stalling and the check engine light and immobilizer light would flash and then
the revs will pick up again, doing this a few times and then just stalling
completely. Had to drive it home after work and when stepping on the clutch,
revs would go up over 4000 rpm and just continued going higher, had to
switch off ignition at all the stop signs so that I don't over rev the engine.
Got diagnostics connected and no fault codes present and also measuring
blocks measured my throttle at 0% when idling. Tested for the battery, but did
the same with another battery, still unable to idle or stay running.
