I have a pristine 66 fairlane ( convertible)
And i recently changed the break booster.
Now the motor runs like ****
I am sure its somehow connected to the
vacuum. Further research revealed that the
convertible requires a different booster.
Has anyone seen or had this problem, and
solved it? Keep in mind its the 390./4speed
And i already changed valve covers for it to fit.
Yes it does have a vacuum connection, there should be a large vacuum line towards the rear of the manifold that will go over to the brake booster, there should also be a small check valve that the hose will connect too and that valve will go into the booster.
