Have the oil changed but the oil indicator still on a red light

Asked by Apr 24, 2016 at 09:46 AM about the 2004 Ford Escape

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello! From Philippines here. I need help with my
Ford Escape 2004 with V6 engine. I already had
the oil changed but the oil indicator is still on a red
light. Is there a difference between 5w-20 and 5w-
50? When my engine gets hot the oil indicator
prompts and hears an annoying sound everytime I
step on the gas. Thank you.

Oil light? Might be low oil pressure due to the oil pump. Have it looked at before damage is done.
