I'm having the same problem with my 2005 Freestar. My husband has changed the egr valve, fuel filter, manifold gasket, plugs, wires, coil pack. His next step is fuel pump and fuel pressure sensor. Not sure what's going on but I'm going to follow this to see if you get any answers.
