I need help getting the ignition switch out and getting it out of park

Most likely the rack and sector assembly in the steering column is broken. A common GM failure. Your local auto parts store will have the kit but you must disassemble the upper portion of the steering column to replace it. Best left to a pro if you're not familiar with the steering column.
