On a regular 245 tire on a Factory rims can I install wider tires

That depends on how wide. Usually you can get by going one size wider without any rubbing problems.
The stock tires are P245/60R20. The rims are wide enough for P285/60R20. That increases the diameter nearly two inches and raises your speed compared to the speedometer. When the speedometer reads 70, you'll be going about 75. I believe you have enough space to do the larger tire.

That's probably the largest tire you can install. Check tire shops for guidance.
