shifting issues, clutch, output vss sensor

Asked by GuruDWWVMY Apr 27, 2024 at 03:57 PM about the 2004 Mazda MAZDA6 4 Dr i Hatchback

Question type: General

i have a late 2004 Mazda 6 GG1 hatch 5speed Sports Luxury Edition.
Although 2004 I've always purchased parts for 2005, which I understand
between 02-05, it's generally the same.
Currently I have un-smooth shifting issues and clutch doesn't seem to come
back when I change gears. new clutch was only  installed last month.
Speedo is also not working.  I've checked online everywhere but can't seem
to locate the location of the output vss sensor, which I believe is the culprit. .
Is the sensor located at the front of car where the intake is??
In addition, I also changed full synthetic transmission Nulon oil couple years
ago, would I need to replace it again??
Can anyone assist pls?
