2018 Toyota 4Runner Braking problems (brake petal gets stuck sometimes)

Asked by Guru95YJBK Dec 31, 2020 at 09:49 AM about the 2018 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Premium

Question type: General

My 2018 4Runner ($42K miles)  has intermittent braking problems.  It
happens occasionally, when I brake the petal feels spongy and the petal
stops/get stuck in place and will not let me to continue to press petal down.  I
have to release and try brake again, sometimes it gets "stuck" in place again,
sometimes it works correctly after releasing.  I have taken it to Toyota, they
did Vehicle Diagnostics, took tires off to look at components and test drive,
they tell me nothing wrong.  Is anyone else experiencing this in their Toyota?

2 years old and you're having a major problem , what a P.O.S. Cars used to rot away and still drive .
