Would I get a discount for a false advertisement

Asked by Guru9TBDWM Mar 19, 2021 at 09:10 PM about the 2016 Subaru Crosstrek Limited AWD

Question type: General

I saw a car on your website it showed the feature of vehicle
including navigation system however when I went to the
dealer where the car was they said the car doesn't have
navigation isn't that false advertisement since I wasted a
day driving to the location only to find out the car is not
what you said it was?

The dealers place the ads. So is it false advertising? Maybe it was just an error? Dealers copy from one ad to another and can't guarantee accuracy. I know you drove a long way, but things like this happen. Make some phone calls and talk to a salesmen before you make such a long journey next time.

Make the best deal you can. CG's does not fill out the ads, the dealer does.

I'd ask for a discount on the vehicle. Especially if that feature is important to you. If they won't give you a discount, walk away and buy from another Dealer. Hope that helps! Jim
