What could be the problem with the AC?

ac stops working when the rain falls. and everything is working well. The only thing that is out of place is that grill seems to be missing in the opening vent that allows air to come into the ac vents.

Well, you have a car that's like a "Rube Goldberg" machine. One failure follows the next. Increased humidity in vehicles that aren't well protected form it will create electrical troubles that are mind-numbing. Vapor is affecting a fuse, switch, sensor, module, or something else. Finding the problem might take some time.

I have a 2003 Hyundai Elantra with 65,000 miles and i just recently found out i need a front right wheel bearing and I have 2 evap leaks. (2 codes came up). I was quoted $450 to fix both issues including a state inspection. Is this a serios issue with my car that has to be fixed right away or something i can fix over the next few weeks?
