So I have a 2015 Nissan Sentra S, I need to
replace the Automatic CVT transmission, but
can i only install a 2015 model or can I get a
new/older models transmission to replace it?

depending on your mileage it may be covered by the warranty that was extended due to the class action lawsuit. I know I got a notice for mine.
