Dodge journey stalling issues

Asked by Josh Mar 25, 2024 at 11:10 PM about the 2015 Dodge Journey SXT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

3.6l v6 dodge journey sometimes stalls when
coming to a stop. You can feel it trying to stall as
it gets to the lower gears. If it doesn’t stall it idles
just fine and it didn’t throw any engine codes

How about any transmission codes? Torque converter lockup not releasing?

No codes and doesn’t seem to be the torque converter. I cleaned the throttle body just the other day which seems to have fixed the issue of stalling. Now I’m having a rough idle only when the car is in gear and the ac isn’t turned on. With the ac on it idled just fine
