Husband changed the fuse for the lighter on  2013 beetle  and now I have low
tire pressure light and engine light and it will stat but not go into drive? took it
to dealer told me that the fuse for the transmission was missing.  I find it odd
seeing all the fuses were there

Look in your manual. It gives you a diagram of all the fuses required and where the are located and what size they are. Extremely easy to check and put in by yourself.
