Rear rotor replacement on a Kia sorento 2014

I'm trying to remove the rear rotor on a kua
sorrento 2014 and can't seem to remove the
caliper mounting bracket. The bottom bolt is
blocked by the swing arm. Is the a way around
this?

was hoping somebody had an answer b3cause it just happened to me...have sort of soured on kia's now after having 3 of them

Just completed my rear brakes have the same issue. What you need to do is get a bottle jack compressed rear spring enough to take tension off the control arm out. Take a 19mm and a breaker if I'm correct and remove the bolt.then gently tap the arm and you'll be able to get to the screw with an extension and a 14mm. Then just do those steps in reverse to reinstall. It's really stupid but can be done at home

Get 14 mm deep ofset spanner saves taking swing arm off just enough to do it bit by bit slow but works

Get 14mm deep offset ring spanner somtimes called dogsleg spaanner it will get into nut without hassle of removing swing arm
