Legal car condition to drive

Asked by Phuong Feb 15, 2020 at 05:25 AM about the 2012 Acura MDX SH-AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I got an acura that got its front bumper scratched pretty bad. The right corner
doesn't connect with the car light anymore and is sticking out/down a little,
there's a tiny rip on the bumper as well. I tried driving it back home before and it
worked fine (only the bumper got damaged) but is this condition of car legal to
drive on the street?

As long as the headlight works, you should be fine till you have it repaired and inspected. Is the front wheel ok? It looks from the picture it might be pushed in a little from the damage?
