What device do I need to enable my Bluetooth capability?

I purchased a 2011 Equinox, and was told that I hand hands free. The
salesman showed me the speaker/mic, and where to access it, and the
buttons on the car. After a while I realized I didn't actually have it. Yes, I have
the speaker/mic above my head, and the phone buttons in the car, but it is not
installed. What device do I need to buy to enable this feature?
