Rear hatch wont lock

Asked by Weirdly Sep 20, 2019 at 09:13 PM about the 2011 Kia Sorento EX V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

All my doors will lock with the key fob except for the rear hatch, I don't hear a
clicking noise for the rear hatch when I press the button on the key fob, any
thoughts???

Check fuses first. Broken wire and worn out latch assy.

I have very same issue with 2013 <48k miles. Awaiting determination from mechanic. My suggestion was fuses, but he said they should all be on same circuit. We shall see....thought my manual indicated otherwise.
