How to change park light on BMW X5

My garage have advised me that to change the parking light on my BMW X5
2010 that it will require the removal of bumper, wheel housing , fender and
wheel removal. This seems outrageous. Am I being ripped off as the manual I
have read says it is quite simple to access the lamp housing from within the
engine area?

You are right those are accessed through the engine bay. It will cost you about $10 for the bulbs and a couple mins time to replace.
