2010 Nissan Altima cvt transmission.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How long can a 2010 Nissan Altima CVT transmission last? The car has 49,000 miles on it, and runs well.  My mechanic changes the oil with synthetic motor oil every 5000 miles. I think he did a change in the transmission fluid one time.

If you're not the original owner then there's no telling how the first one drove it . An auto tranny will wear out eventually despite any fluid changes or maintenance , you may have 50,000 left on it . who knows ?
