Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What would cause a 08 g6 to idol between 1000-
2000 rpm, flutters while idling, struggles to go
faster than 45 mph max speed was 65... engine
power reduced warning displayed

Cylinder misfires, plugged cat converter, sensor issues....many possibilities. Have you have the trouble codes read and explained? That might give you a target to investigate.

I have it showed p2101 throttle sensor, throttle position not learned, along with camshaft b sensor when I re checked it was only throttle postion not learned and camshaft

That would be the place to start. Replacing the TPS is not difficult. Many videos on the internet I suspect.

Jennifer, were you able to resolve this issue? My 2010 is doing the same thing, it spit the serpentine belt and it’s the same issue even after putting a new one on. K
