where is the fuel pressure regulator valve on gmc 2001 ext cab 4x4

i need a pic or pics of the wiring of the rear brake lights ...truck was running rough
missing and jerking acting like had water in gas....stalled out and now will not start at
all i was repairing the rear brake lights rewiring them before all this started happening.i
dont think my fuel pump running now is there anything that makes this fuel pump work
besides the pump alone...like a relay ...modulator valve... egr.... 02 sensor...fuel pres
reg valve.... sending unit...or is there anything in the wiring i could have hit burnt up
knocked loose...that causes trk not too start and furl pump to work thanks
