Have problem with fuel pump, so exchanged the fuel pump and the fuel filter. Now stuck on what else could be causing the problem. if you have suggestion it would be very appreciated

The car is a 1985 toyota celiac gt 2.4liter 4cyl. I believe its fuel injected.

Is the part the same,can you hear its pumping,what bar does it push out,is the fuel relay working,is the injectors functoning,check fuses,check all above and see what it does.
