1994 R129 key fob (or key to start car)

I recently bought a 1994 R129, and it came with one key fob. I am trying to
obtain another. Or at least a key that will start the car if the fob is lost. MB
dealer says they are not available. Any suggestions? Hard to believe that if I
lose the key, the car is useless. Thanks!
