Boosting a naturally aspirated engine more than a few pounds will blow it up.

thanks. I was a bit worried a about that. The car has only 59 K mi and was bought new by my mother in Ariz. It's a wonderful little car but have always wanted more muscle in a car. It's always been kept inside a garage and still is. I've only driven it 12 K over the last two years.

Exhaust and intake kits can boost your power a bit but for major power you are looking at internal engine mods.
