Front Sway bar bushings 1970 Chevelle SS 396

Asked by Scorpio396 Jun 19, 2007 at 10:21 PM about the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Rebuilt the front suspension of my 1970 Chevelle SS 396. Cannot find front sway bar bushings 1 1/18" diameter. Everyone wants to sell me the 1" bushings which are too small. Any suggestions? I have checked many sites and have not had any success. Also is a F 41 suspension on all Chevelle SS 396's. It appears that the sway bar is 1 1/4". Will this work? I have had the car since new and the suspension is original.

This site usually has original parts or if they don't they will usually help you find the right parts. http://www.carsinc.com/chevy/1964-1980-chevelle/chevelle/1970/
